“I won’t sell you a pen, if what you really need is a pencil.”
We want to make it easy to work with us. Here’s our typical onboarding process:
Discovery
Email us at hello@hamptondell.co.uk and we’ll arrange an initial call. This confidential discussion will help us understand your needs and how we can best support you. We can execute an NDA at this stage if required.
We’ll follow up with:
- a Proposal to replay your problem statement and clearly outline how Hampton Dell can support you;
- a Quotation to show pricing and other anticipated costs; and
- our Consulting Agreement, designed to cover essential points whilst saving your counsel’s time.
If we aren’t best placed to assist, we’ll let you know if one of our trusted industry peers may be a better fit.
Contracting
We typically conduct business using Hampton Dell’s concise Consulting Agreement. If you must use your own agreement, our proposal remains subject to our review and agreement of your terms.
Resourcing
Unless otherwise specified, the team at Hampton Dell will be working with you. In exceptional circumstances we may engage trusted industry partners to support certain specialist activities. We will inform you when this is required and provide you with an opportunity to object to the chosen partner.
Hampton Dell’s typical working pattern is 0900-1700 Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Flexibility outside these hours is normally possible with reasonable prior notice.
Security
We take reasonable steps to secure our systems and data, including by:
- using supported versions of operating systems and applications
- automating security patching where possible
- enabling firewalls to prevent unauthorised inbound connections and isolation between network segments/zones.
- enabling anti-virus, anti-spyware and network-level security measures
- storing client data within per-client encrypted volumes
Hampton Dell actively minimises the volume of client data stored, and relevant client data is returned upon request and then securely wiped at the conclusion of each engagement.
We regret that clients’ endpoint security measures, such as MDM or EDR/XDR clients, are not permitted on Hampton Dell devices; this ensures the confidentiality and availability of other clients’ data. If your information security policy requires this, you will need to provide suitably configured devices to access your systems and data, which will be returned at the conclusion of the engagement or upon earlier request. Although reasonable care will be taken to prevent damage or theft of your equipment, Hampton Dell will not be held liable for costs resulting from inadvertent damage, loss or wear & tear.
